Exhibits and Curating

NorthWinds currently curates art exhibits for the Nunavut Legislative Assembly of Nunavut. We focus on highlighting northern artist and display their art in the lobby of the Legislative Assembly of Nunavut – curating 3-4 art shows per year.

We also exhibit our images. Our photography exhibits include: Iqaluit Museum, Telluride Film Festival, Nunavut Legislative Assembly.

Past clients include: Mexico Tourism, National Geographic, Red Bull Media House, National Geographic Adventure, Northwest River Sports, Kokatat and Massey Furgusen.

Adventure & Expedition Gallery

Both Erik Boomer and Sarah McNair-Landry can often be found in freezing location with a camera in their hand – capturing expeditions and adventures around the globe.

Their skills are not only to survive a multi month expedition – but also capture high quality images and film of the adventures.

Photography Exhibits

Our photography exhibits include the Nunavut Legislative Assembly, Telluride Film Festival and the Iqaluit Museum. NorthWinds also works curating art and photography shows.

One Man Epic Expedition

Joined Tom on his One Man Epic Expedition as the expedition photographer for three weeks, riding camels across the White and Black desert in the Eastern Sahara.

Photography Courses

You heard it – NorthWinds offers photography courses in Baffin Island! You must be warned, we will keep you up late at night shooting northern lights, and make sure you are awake to capture the golden light at sunrise the next morning. We can guarantee that we will send you home tired, inspired, and with lots of amazing photos on your camera.
